Econ pool and snooker undertake table restorations, we have amazed people as to what can be done with their old tables. We have access to fairly much every part needed to restore you snooker and pool tables and can import special items from the Uk or USA if needed for an antique table.
Full table restorations generally involve a huge amount of work as we would strip the lacquer from the table, replace and repair any damaged timber then colour and re lacquer the timber. Generally pocket nets, leathers and possibly even cushion rubber needing replaced and finally to finish off the work a full recover on the table. Whether you need a full restoration or just something simple repaired then we can supply you a no obligation quote you on the work.
Full size mahogany billiard table with steel block cushions
This table had been in the sun at one end which discoloured the timbers, it had most of the bolt hole buttons missing. It looked like someone had attempted doing some repairs to the cushions in the past but must have realised they had taken on too much and added plywood facings to the cushion side surfaces to cover up the damage. We removed these plywood facings and stripped approximatley 5mm of mahogany from the cushion faces then laminated a nice new mahogany facing to the old surface while adding a nice rounded mahogany edging to the lower edge of the cushion, we then drilled out the bold holes through the new facings and made new buttons to fit these and so returning the cushions to a similar look as they had when the table was manufactured. Most of the leg bolt hole covers where missing also, we made 12 new ones for all of the 8 legs, we replaced nets, leathers, ball rails and straps, repaired damaged cushion cappings then sre lacquered the whole up to its original colour.
Full size snooker table Marbella.
This table was in a very poor state, the table had been in a flooded property years back, timber at the cushions ends had broken away over time, bolt hole buttons where missing and there was a pocket plate and nets missing along with all the accessories, balls etc. We repaired the damaged slate, restructured the cushions with new cappings, new rubber supports and new Northern rubber, we also had the bolt hole buttons turned to match the style of the table. The table was re lacquered and erected with new Stratchen 6811 Club snooker cloth.
